What role does the immune system play in individual health?

The immune system protects the body against foreign pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses and parasites, by sending out antibodies as well as white blood cells to attack and kill the pathogens. The more antibodies and white blood cells are made, the faster the person can recover from the illness, such as a cold or flu. Vaccines do not boost the immune system.

Vaccines, such as the smallpox vaccine, contain a small strain of the live virus, which is injected into the body. The strain is quickly killed by the body’s immune system. In doing so, the immune system recognizes and develops a “memory” of the virus.

If the person becomes infected with smallpox, the immune system would recognize the disease and use the same methods to kill it. Eating healthy foods, such as fruits, vegetables and taking vitamin C does strengthen the immune system.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
