I once had an answer in a comment, and I was tipped for the comment. If the user leaves a comment instead of an answer, they should know better not to answer the question in the comment. This rarely happens, but you should mention the commenter, then tip him if you thought the answer was tip worthy.
If you select another best answer, then you could quote the comment that also answered the question.
I've had this happen to me a couple of times. It does affect my rating on Best Answers but I really am not terribly concerned with that. I'm just grateful that the asker thought well enough to tip me!
There are several different ways you could handle this. If it was me, I would probably tip the person who made the comment separately, then select a 2nd best answer. If the comment was providing additional info for another answer, then that answer probably would be a good pick for the best.
Not sure we need to do anything.... this is the first time I've ever heard of this being an issue.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
