What should we do if his sister wants to be my maid of honor?
These days it's not unusual for men to stand up for the bride and women to stand up for the groom which is what I would suggest for the grooms sister in this case. The attendants for the bride should be of her own choosing so if the bride has someone else in mind for the maid of honor she should bo go with whom she wants. Or, if the bride is close to the grooms sister the bride and groom may agree to have his sister as maid of homor.
Remember the wedding belongs strictly to the bride and the groom and no one else should be forcing their preferences on them. The only exception I can see would be if the wedding was being paid for by someone else, then the bride and groom might want to be a bit flexible with their wishes also.

Example- I received something in the mail for the receptio, When my sister got home, I was excited and was like, "COME LOOK AT THIS STUFF" And she was like "I just got home from work, give me 10 minutes. So I was like ok. 2 hrs later, my sister was facebooking in the computer room 10 ft away... She logged off and started walking down the stairs, and I was like, "WAIT, come look at everything!"
And her response... "Ugh, Im just so tired, that I don't want to" Really, her fat *** was 10 ft from what I wanted to show her and she couldn't make an effort to turn around and walk up 5 freaking staris! Another example, she was PISSED at me during my bridal shower. The only thing she was in charge of was bringing balloons.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
