What should you do when you wake up @ 3am in the morning dreaming about your ex who ditched you 4yrs bak?

Go right back to sleep, consider it a nightmare and you were lucky enough to wake out of it! But before you go to sleep think of nice thoughts or just stop thinking about him all together! If the relationship was that bad whats the point of thinking and crying about him.

Butch news- We can enjoy dreams when its abt something that doesn't hurt us.. But waking up from a dream you thought to be real/wanted it to be real is so damn freakingly painful..

One person could not hold on & the other is unable to let Go.. If letting go was as easy as it sounds then maybe, just maybe these pain wud disappear. Thanks for the reply.

Four years is an awful long time not to have found someone who loves and adores you for you.

However if one keeps a foot on first base it's impossible to make it to second base. Until you truly let go of the past your future will be on hold. There is no room for Mr. Right.

Your future lies ahead of you, not behind you!

Do you realise that your ex has moved on with his life..?!

Sweetie, let go, then go find yourself a new boyfriend.

I would find a new boyfriend and start dreaming about the new one.

You feel like you won't meet someone else and are setting your value lower than you really are, I think this might be what your subconscious is trying to tell you.

Keep on going, you've gotta be out there. Slap some makeup on at 7:30am or whenever you go to work, make your hair all pretty and - you never know...

It's not unusual. The mind seems to like doing those things to us in sleep and I have no idea why except it's defragmenting and your dream mind was turned on.

I have quite vivid dreams. So much so I recall saying to someone... in a dream "you know this is just a dream".

I enjoy my dreams and stopped taking an anti-depressant a long time ago because I no longer dreamed and there was little else I enjoyed in life at the time but my dreams. If I had stayed on the anti-depressant I'm certain I would have killed myself.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
