What team has most loyal fans ..nfl?

They've been pretty good in those fifty years in stretches. It's hard to stick with your boyhood team, but we all do it.

You should have seen what the Patriots had gone through! They didn't even have a consistent home for 11 years! They bounced around Nickerson Field, Fenway Park, Alumni Stadium, the Yale Bowl, Harvard Stadium, and even had to play a "home" game at Legion Field in Birmingham, AL And for most of that time, they STUNK.

Finally, Billy Sullivan (perhaps the poorest owner in NFL history) scraped together some pennies to build (on donated land, mind you) Schaefer Stadium...perhaps the worst permanent stadium in the NFL. How bad was it? When it opened in 1971, huge traffic jams on Route 1 prevented fans from getting in until halftime.

Once they settled in, they found the stadium's plumbing couldn't handle 61,000 fans. The Massachusetts Board of Health threatened to condemn the place unless the Patriots fixed the problem. They did; but to test it, they had to do the "Super Flush."

Dozens of volunteers waited for a signal, then simultaneously flushed every toilet to see if they'd work. They did. It got worse... * When Phil Bengston was introduced as a new coach, he was nearly electrocuted by a defective microphone.

* One year (1974) they were so injury-plagued, they signed an ex-player who happened to be at the game. * The Patriot teams of the 1970s were loaded with talent, but short on results. * The worst loss in their history was a controversial playoff game against Oakland (1976).

* Their best receiver in those days was Darryl Stingley, whose career was ended by a Jack Tatum hit. * They rarely sold out home games. Even the Bruins drew bigger crowds.

* They finally made it to the Super Bowl...and got bombed by the Bears, 46-10. * Billy Sullivan declared bankruptcy shortly thereafter. Those "fans" west of Massachusetts who hate Brady's Bunch have NO IDEA what Patriots fans had to put up with before he got here!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
