One of Twitter's unique selling points is that people that do not want to listen to you will not listen to you. So choose your audience and say interesting things that this audience want to hear. If you say something that is interesting enough then hopefully it will get retweeted, and more people will see what you say and start to follow you.

Select your niche and follow people of that niche subject ,this will definetly increase your following. Tweet regularly and post your comments on tweets of others.

First, you have to follow more people to get more followers. The BEST way I have found to gain followers, is to participate in conversations on Twitter. Several times I have engaged in lengthy conversations on Twitter, and after the conversation ends, I can go back and see that I picked up followers almost as soon as the conversation started, and stopped adding them almost as soon as the conversation winded down.

Often, others will start tweeting something like 'Guys you need to be paying attention to this conversation that @MackCollier and @JenniferLaycock are having on getting more comments on your blog! ', which gets me even more followers.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
