Actually a lot has to do with the length of the wire...under 6 feet almost any speaker wire will do over ten feet you should get a pure copper wire not CCA or Copper clad Aluminum...in at least 16 gauge...Copper is 60% less resistive than Aluminum so in longer runs it causes less heat and less resistance.....also your best bet for pure copper wire is OFC oxygen free copper speaker wire....which will be advertised that way . Oxygen free remains shiny but the real benefit is that in addition to oxygen being removed other impurities such as iron and lead are also removed in the process creating a more pure copper content in the wire.....also fine stranded speaker wire is more flexible and is easier to work with.... 16 gauge OFC will work in most cases under 15 feet over 15 feet 14 or 12 gauge...I usually use 14 gauge OFC all the way around because its easier that way but some people recommend and use 12 guage all the way around just for continuity and safety....14 gage pure copper wire is good out to about 35 feet while 12 gauge is good to about 45 feet greater than 50 feet all wire including 10 gauge will start to degrade the signal as the signal is only good out to about 60 feet no matter what wire is used.....what happens is you start to lose damping factor so the bass becomes muddy and you also start to get excessive treble roll off and distortion increases.......if you use aluminum wire you need a larger guage sooner because it has more resistance 60% more resistance and problems will occur sooner........So brand is not important but Copper purity of the wire is....also finely stranded wire is more flexible doesn't really help with skin effect that much or other problems but its easier to work with..if electricity was water molecules then skin effect could be described and delt with in a normal manner but because electrons are sub atomic particles the laws of normal physics do not apply and you are dealing with quantum theory...speaker wire configurations do not deal with skin effect because the physics is mis understood....
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
