Dodge was founded by two brothers, John Francis Dodge and Horace Elgin Dodge in Detroit, Michigan (where I live! ) and the company was called the Dodge Brothers. They founded Dodge Brothers right at the turn of the 20th century.
Their first vehicle was actually a bike with a ball bearing! This was manufactured in 1899.
The brothers first made parts for Oldsmobile, then signed a contract with Henry Ford. They made every single part for the first Ford car except for the tires and the seats. Soon, Ford didn't need the brothers and sent them to fend for themselves. The decided to open up in 1913 as their own car manufacturers, the Dodge Brothers.
On November 14, 1914, Dodge built its first car and had improved on all the weak aspects and problems that the Model T had. It was powered by an L-head 4-cylinder engine and was called a Dodge Tourer.
I think Dodge, to this day, is a great company. In my opinion it's highly underrated.Their cars are completely reliable and they always keep up with the times, if not stay just a little ahead of them. I would buy one!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
