I live in the state of Arizona and Arizona State University is the heart of this great state. Arizona State University was founded on February 26, 1885 and was named Tempe Normal School in Tempe, Arizona. Arizona State University has been renamed "Arizona State College" in 1945 until a ballot was conducted in 1958 to rename this prestigious academic institution to the name we all know it as, "Arizona State University."

Over 70,000 students attend ASU and its campuses have expanded dramatically since the 1950s, with four campuses in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona.
