Jones also admitted to have recorded the verses consciously without vocal vibrato to be more in keeping which a dance orientated track. On this track Chicane has moved yet further towards embracing electric bass and guitars, which has given it an angle reminiscent of U2's "Discothèque" and Solar Stone's "Like a Waterfall" but underpinned with Chicane melody, progressions and keyboard elements.

Chicane never needed to expand or branch out-his music stood on it's own merits and was much more loved by his fans when it appeared to come from his soul with no outside "interference".
