Whatever happened to the artist Tweet?

Tweet currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. It seems she went through a real rough patch awhile back, depression and suicidal thoughts, but her good friend Missy Elliot helped get her through it and Tweet credits her with basically saving her life. Tweet has worked with Missy on and off for many years as well as many other big name '90's rappers such as Timbaland, Ginuwine and URL1 April 2002, Tweet released her debut album Southern Hummingbird to mostly strong reviews.

On March 22, 2005, Tweet released her second album It's Me Again. Love, Tweet is Tweet's third studio album, on Umbrella Recordings.It was originally scheduled for a June 2008 release but was later canceled. The project was rumored to have been shelved, but was later confirmed for a fall 2008 release.

The teaser single "My Dear" which featured former label mate T.I.Will not appear on the retail release."Real Lady" was scheduled to be released as the first single in November 2008 but was later canceled. Love, Tweet has already been reviewed by Vibe in their July 2008 issue. Currently, the album is set for Summer 2009.

Procrastination was rumored to be the album's first official single in place of "Real Lady" but was later confirmed as false and is not apart of the finalized album.
