What's a storyline that you really dislike (in young adult novels)?

I don't think it's wrong. Just because the books are written for teens doesn't mean they aren't well written or quality stories. And I personally enjoy the break from the romance story lines that can be incorporated in and brought to the forefront of adult books that are more downplayed in YA books, so the actual plot of the story can take precedence.

If 44-year old moms can swoon over Edward Cullen and 30 year old secretaries can raise their wands to the Boy Who Lived, you are definitely not too old to read YA novels.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
