What's the best way to house train/ potty train a new puppy? (7 weeks old)?

It depends much on the breed. We have had good luck using a potty pad and some cheese. Once the pup makes the connection between getting the cheese, some praise, and the potty pad.

They will work it. You just have to come through with the praise and the cheese to keep it going. Once you have it established, they will continue to use the pad but you still have to come up with the other items occasionally.Thanks.WB.

I find that its good to learn the pup's routine i.e. First thing in the morning, an hour after food, after 'wild play' etc . ..

The make sure it is outside at these times, when the pup goes outside reward it. Don’t chastise when it is indoors or it will get secretive and you will find poo in your slippers!

A wire kennel...definately! My wife worked at a veterinarian office, plus we have raised 3 GREAT dogs of our own!

Your other option is to reward them with treats for a great job. Sometimes training pads are effective as well.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
