Whats the difference between an EKG Tech and a Cardiac Tech?

It takes between 3-7 months, depending on what they are teaching you during the course.. if they teach you the basics, it'll take around 3 months.. if they teach you how to interpret them and read the rhythm, then it'll take 7 months.. and then you'll be certified as well.. some places offer the CPR and first aid certification too.. i've never gone to school for EKG.. I was trained at the hospital I work at now.. the placement for the electrodes and how to hook them up is easy.. although, I don't interpret the EKG's for the patient, I can tell which ones are abnormal and which patient's had a heart attack or stroke.. also, the hospital I work at offers free CPR certification every 2 years conducted by a respiratory therapist.. it works out perfect!.. I would suggest not wasting the money for the schooling because even if you are certified, the pay is still the same.. roughly around $12-$17/hour.. I make $15.50/hour and $16 on weekends..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
