Tricky question but I think I would have to suggest to you the Kinect. Wii has been in the market for atleast 4 years and the technology for motion controllers have improved a lot (i. E PS Move).
Wii's library is big, but if you are not a fan of Nintendo games, you are out of luck. Nintendo game's like Kirby's Epic Yarn and Mario Galaxy are great games (espically for kids) but others don't bring to much justice as the library is full of shovelware (Ninjabread Man, Anubis 2) and there are not a lot of great third-party exclusives (Golden Eye, The Conduit). Still games like No More Heroes, Golden Eye 007, MadWorld, and House of the Dead are some pretty good hardcore games.
This is the cheapest of all of them so if you have a budget, you can get this. The PS Move a great improvement to the Wii with more accuracy which adds more realistic feeling to the games. The games however are more ment for hardcore gamers with games like Heavy Rain, Resident Evil 5 Gold, Time Crisis Razing Storm, and Killzone 3.
Though it just recently launched so there are not a lot of games avalible right not. If you want kid games there are some like Toy Story 3, EA Create, Tron Evolution, and EyePet. The controller feels better in your hands than the Wiimote, and most games for the Move are all motion based games unlike the Wii which is uses its controller sideways to play most games like a normal controller.
This is the most expenive ($400 for both) but more worth it as you get the Move and PS3 which contains a great amount of epic games (especially single player games) and Playstation Network online service which is free so you can play with friends. Xbox Kinect I would say is the best choice as it has more casual games than hardcore games and that the gadget is a lot fun than both of the other consoles. The Kinect uses no controller, has two players built-in, voice control, and you use your body as a controller.
Casual games like Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, Joy Ride, Child of Eden, Kinectimals will be a blast experience for the kids and its hardcore games like Dance Central, Sonic Free Riders, Fighters Uncaged, Star Wars are also great. Plus (like the other controllers) you can use it for menus but also voice commands for have a more immense experience (i. E saying "xbox stop" while watching a movie).
This is the second most expensive ($300) for the Kinect and Xbox 360 bundle but also worth more than the Wii with its robust multiplayer games and its apps (Facebook, Twitter, ESPN). Plus it's the newest one right now so my opinion is you should get the Kinect. Kinect w/ Xbox 360 4GB: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-4GB-Conso... PlayStation 320 GB w/ Move Bundle: http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-320GB-... Limited Edition Wii Bundle w/ Super Mario Bros Wii: http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Hardware-Bundl...
Wii is more kid friendly PS3 has wayyy more stuff plus better graphics ex. Youtube facebook internet browsing blu ray ect. I would stay away from xbox because it doesn't really have anything too special and it ruins games overtime.. trust me ive seen more than one xbox do it including mine PS3 is your best bet especialy for a family but it costs much more than xbox or wii.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
