Whats the difference between windows application and web application?

Windows app runs without internet connectivity and the web app requares an internet connectivity hope you will be satisfied.

Web Application : A Web application is an application that is accessed via Web browser over a network such as the Internet or an Intranet. It is also a computer software application that is coded in a browser-supported language (such as HTML, ASP, PHP, Perl, Python etc. ) and reliant on a common web browser to render the application executable. Web applications are popular due to the ubiquity of a client, sometimes called a thin client.

Window Application : A program that is written to run under Microsoft's Windows operating system. Such applications typically run under all 32-bit versions of Windows, but earlier applications might also run under the 16-bit versions (Windows 3. X) as well.
