What's the quickest way to import a large data set into a database?

In general, for large inserts, it is better to insert then index. Otherwise the insert process will need to insert while indexing, which will be slow and get slower and slower as more items are added. Consider an shuffled deck of cards - what would be faster?

Taking all of the cards and sorting them in place or taking each card one at a time and putting it in place in a new pile? (not the best analogy, I know).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
