Can someone tell you whats wrong you have a compaq laptop and your wireless works just fine at home you bring it to work where you have wireless internet and it won't even pick it up?

Work may have security enabled. You may need to involve your network administrator to get your computer on the work LAN.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
