As far as you question what is wrong with beauty pageants, I think that the people who don't like beauty pageants feel that it is silly or objectifies women. Many people feel that what is inside is more important than outside personal appearance, so they don't like pageants which judge women on beauty, including evening gown and bathing suit competitions. When women put on makeup, do their hair in elaborate styles, and wear revealing clothes in order to be judged some people find that distasteful.
I feel beauty pageants almost always have to concentrate on appearance because that is what the judges are being presented with. Although there are now questions and interviews given to beauty pageant contestants that they are judged on, it remains true that the queen of the pageant is chosen based on her face, her body, and her grace. As far as what kind of a body a model has to have, usually they have to be quite tall and slender.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
