I like all of the decades. The most known are obviously are the 50's and up. But I have heard some older songs too, from old movies.
But when it comes to types, I honestly couldn't tell you because I think I like every type. Except for some really hard rap/hip hop and hard rock. But every other style that I have heard, I have liked.
If you could choose, what is your favorite decade and type of music. Asked by musicholickgp 51 months ago Similar questions: favorite decade music type Entertainment > Music.

Easily the 70's... I graduated from high school in 1979, so that decade contains the music that meant the most to me in my young life. I started out the decade listening to AM radio and buying singles of one-hit wonders. Later, a friend told me it wasn't "cool" to buy singles and that I should start listening to albums.
I did, and I discovered the music of teens back then like Boston, AC/DC, Styx, Journey and REO Speedwagon. But I still kept my ear tuned to pop radio and that decade gave us a lot of great music from Elton John, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, and yes, even Barry Manilow. Then in '77 (I think it was) along came Saturday Night Fever and Disco supplanted Rock as a major musical force.
I remember all the signs I used to see in various places that read "Disco Sucks. " Strangely, no one ever seems to mention accompanying punchline to that phrase (I am amused today everytime I hear something "sucks," I've even heard it used quite commonly in the workplace, but whatever)...for all the people who supposedly hated it, there were clearly a lot of people who loved it and the clubs were pretty full too. By the time the decade ended, I was listening to bands like The Knack, and later other New Wave bands like the Cars and Blondie.
There was a lot of music packed into that decade, and almost all of it was great to me. Fave decade would have to be 80s but it's hard for me to pin point my favorite type. I listen to a wide variety of music depending on my mood. From Christian to classic rock to oldies to country.
Those on the list to leave off of favorites are heavy metal, hip hop and rap Sources: moods Video OMG! The little gopher in the video reminds me of my 2 1/2 year old son playing the drums. He plays "air" drums instead of "air" guitar like most people do!

I'm kinda like you wrote about yourself in 'details', but since you want a specific ten year period, as a matter of fact, you didn't ask for something like; 1965 through 1975. Okay, it isn't easy because up until 1990 I liked most of the music this country generated. So let's call it the sixties, and that's my answer.
But I will add, as far as I am concern, our entire country has been artisticaly challenged in writing, music, and visual entertainment since 1990...I'm sorry, but it's the way I see it. BYE! .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
