Deli Food! Super Bowl Sunday is typically one of those "holidays" where I throw the notion of healthful eating out the window and opt for pure enjoyment. I love doing a big deli spread, where people can build their own sandwiches.

There ARE tomatoes and lettuce and pickles, so I guess it's not entirely unhealthy, lol. I buy as wide an assortment of deli meats and cheeses as I can find...really good quality is essential. Then I buy assorted rolls and breads, and as many creative toppings as I can come up with.

A variety of chips, chex mix, pickles, olives, peppers, veggie platter. Dips. Assorted salads, such as potato, coleslaw, three bean.

Then for desserts I got to a bakery and buy assorted small cakes and cookies, and put out a huge tray. A nice bar is essential, with beers, wines, spirits, mixers, sodas and sparkling waters. And the leftovers the next few days are GREAT!

I know this isn't the most creative spread, and it doesn't involve any culinary skill whatsoever, but it's become a tradition and I love how easy it is to assemble, and how much everyone seems to enjoy it. Nobody has to man a barbecue or spend time over a hot stove in the kitchen, so we're all more or less guests and free to spend all our time by the crackling fire and in front of the big screen. Popcorn is always my favorite snack but on Super Bowl Sunday I really like nachos. There’s just something about hot bubbly cheese that says Super Bowl to me, LOL. I also like to fix a big pot of homemade chili for the game and we might just have some hot dogs to go with it..

My ground turkey/black bean/cilantro chili. Start the crock pot on slow 'bout 10;00 a.m. And mash-up a megaton of fresh guacamole w/ a ridiculous amout of cilantro.

Oh,and can't forget the newcastle brown ale america's #1 game,w/ some mexican food & english beer GAME ON! GO PATS! R.I.P.'72 'PHINS Sources: OLD AGE .

Super Bowl is all about snacking... The last two super bowls I have made a couple racks of ribs. The super bowl just calls for food like that...hot wings, ribs, nachos, guacamole...finger type foods. Chips and homemade guacamole would be my number one choice..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
