I've never cooked anything of his. But, I wanted to make a suggestion. I have the same problem, live in the middle of no where crappy grocery stores unless I can drive 30-40 mins away to wal-mart.(oh how I miss the city :( ) Perhaps you could try ordering some things online?
I usually try to find replacements for things I can't find in stores. There's usually always something that works the same. Try giving certain ingredients a Google and word it something like 'an alternative for ___'.
Also, once you try a recipe, ponder ways you can shorten them, play around with it. =) I absolutely adore cooking, tis relaxing. I've been dying to cook grape leaves (I'm half Lebanese, my dad used to cook Lebanese food alllll the time and I miss that the most) but I can't find grape leafs anywhere around here, not even in a jar.
Makes me sad. So I feel your pain on the middle of now where = small choice of product.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
