Yes. (Wow! I thought I'd never agree with anything you ever said, Fly!).
Without a doubt it demonstrates their intolerance and their tendency toward irrational thought, fear mongering and bigotry. But, we knew that already. This nation was founded by people whose mothers and fathers fled England because of religious persecution and it is no accident that the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America guarantees our religious freedoms.
Those that argue against putting a mosque a couple of blocks from the site of the World Trade Center are engaging in intolerance and are calling for the institutionalization of religious bigotry. Imagine for a moment the howling from the right-wingers if a muslim group tried to challenge locating a church next to a mosque. The same people howling about the location of the mosque near the WTC would be howling about that.
Hypocrites.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
