When an employer forces a full time employee to become a subcontractor would that be the same as being fired?

Many companies have sub-contractors especially when there is a building boom going on. Sometimes you can make better money this way. Please have a talk with your employer and see what he expects from you and what his cut is in all of this and what exactly you are getting out of it.
