It sounds like you are referring to an Ethernet port in your room, and you would like to have your own private WiFi network. If this is the case, then a generic wireless router with an Ethernet WAN/Internet port should work. You will have to make sure that your router is using a different subnet from the one being provided through the Ethernet port in your room.
There are many suitable routers for perhaps around $40 US that should meet your requirements for private WiFi within your room. I would avoid trying to use a router supplied by an ISP. These are often locked to working with their services and will not work when cascaded from another router such as is probably installed in the college network.
If this is not what you were asking about, then you will have to disregard this answer.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
