Essentially you are just telling these blog search sevices, " I got new stuff on my site, come update your index. " So, if you have many blogs on one domain or one giant blog, the little index critters are going to operate just the same. However, depending on how you setup your site, you can choose to ping each blog separately.
See details below. I'm not sure, but when you say "all my blogs" do you mean that you have separate installations for each blog? A blog is the entire site.
A post is one story/article/entrance into the blog. For instance, relationshipadviceman.com is one blog and thequickfixexperts.com is another blog. The individual posts of those blogs aren't also considered a blog.
In other words, you wouldn't say, "I added a blog to my blog today. " But rather, "I posted to my blog today." Now, with that said, I have the option of giving separate blog installations their own subdirectory on one domain.
For example: domain.com/relationshipadviceman/ domain.com/thequickfixexperts/ Each of those blogs belongs to one domain, but they have separate installations, databases and admin logins. I have simply associated them with one domain name. This makes me think that in actuality, you may not have multiple "blogs" but rather sections of one blog that you are mistakenly referring to as multiple blogs.
These subdirectories of a blog are usually associated with an individual post title or a category of posts: domain.com/category1 domain.com/category2 These categories are not separate blogs, just sections of one blog installation. IF THIS IS TRUE than you will be pinging ONLY the domain name and not each separate category. Again, pinging the domain will let the blog search monkeys know that you have new content on your blog.
The address of the blog content is irrelevant to the blog search monkeys. They can't read anyways! They are simply coming to update their records by including your new content and you have told them to search that entire domain.
(Usually via an RSS feed). BUT, if you do in fact have separate installations sharing a domain, you should have separate RSS feeds for each installation: www.domain.com/installation1/feed www.domain.com/installation2/feed This would allow you to ping each feed separately, thereby increasing the visibility of all your new content. You would also have the flexibility to only ping the blogs that actually have new content.
Remember, the most important part of your blog is THE CONTENT itself, not simply trying to drive traffic to your site. "If you write it, they will read.
If you add any new or unique contents, then you can ping it so others will get to know about your articles. But your doubt is that why it shows only part of your content and not all. Thats not true.
Usually for example,if I search in google for iphone 4 tricks, then it will show some sites with url's. If I click that link then it will go directly to that site which shows full article. But if you check by yourself in blog, then it will show some paragraph with read more option, since you are not directly viewing your article by url.
Here you are just typing your domain name. But other will not do like that. They will come to your site to read specific article instead they will not come to check your homepage.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
