When is the Gaslamp Quarter Awards?

The Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, California, is a well known shopping and entertainment district in the downtown area with roots tracing back to 1850! They boast more than 200 shops coupled with nightclubs, restaurants and more fun than you can shake a stick at! From galleries to eateries, Downtown San Diego has put their pride and history forward to revitalizing the Gaslamp Quarter and erected the Gaslamp Archway in 1989 to symbolize that fact.

The Gaslamp Quarter Lamp Lighter Awards of 2010 celebrated their 16th Annual Award Ceremony on November 15th. They honor the best San Diego businesses downtown and is presented by the Gaslamp Quarter Association. There is a theme each year and “ Old Hollywood “ was chosen for 2010.
