When shopping on Amazon for a product you want to buy when there are more than one sellers available to get the item?

Especially since the price is usually different for at least two of the places to buy from. If they are all new items? Or If they are used items?

Or a mixture of both? I am curious. I would guess everyone one would pick the least expensive place even if it isn't direct from Amazon.

(vendors) Tell me how you decide. Give your experiences-good and/or bad. I am really curious and I get "stumped" on which is the best way to go at times.

Give me your ideas, experience, comments, suggestions. No wrong answer. Thanks Asked by Lollipop_the_Bunny 53 months ago Similar questions: shopping Amazon product buy sellers item Amazon.

Amazon made easy! What a great question! I order tons of stuff from Amazon and often buy used books from sellers.

I go buy the ratings placed by each sellers name. I look for a 99% or better rating and for those who have been selling on Amazon for at least one year. If my product isn't listed with what I consider a "safe" seller, I often pay full price to avoid headaches.

But, even if you do get a bad seller, all things sold on Amazon are backed by their A to Z guarantee. If you are dissatisfied, the product did not get delivered or is defective and.. you have e-mailed the seller in an attempt to get resolution, Amazon will refund the amount in the form of an Amazon gift certificate. If you haven't used their phone system, I encourage you to do that whenever problems arise.

Bottom line out of the hundreds of dollars I spend there each year, I've only had 1 bad experience which Amazon fixed quickly and utterly to my satisfaction. Sources: Amazon.com .

A Good Reputation Counts One thing you can do is click on the seller’s name and check their feedback and comments from other buyers. That way you know if other people have had bad experiences with these sellers or not. It may be just me, but if their rating is less than 99% satisfactory, I steer clear of them.To be totally honest, I’m usually willing to pay the Amazon price which may be a little more, but if there’s something wrong with the item, they’ll replace it, no question.

Some of the others won’t. And, if you don’t receive the item, they’ll re-ship it.It’s a real pain-in-the-butt to do if you don’t get something from one of the other sellers. In addition, with Amazon, the packaging will be superb and you can’t always say that about some of the other sellers.

I’ve sold some items on here and use old Amazon packaging - that way I know its good! Also, you get free shipping if the order is $25 or over with Amazon - with others, you’re going to pay for the shipping regardless of how much it costs so you need to add that into the cost and see if you’re really saving any money. Hope this helps.

Any problems are usually displayed & highlighted in red.

Mostly by merchant rating If a merchant rating is really bad, I won't buy from them. I will spend a bit more to go with a better-rated merchant. If the ratings and prices (including shipping) are essentially the same, I'll go with the physically closest one, with a thought that the item might arrive a day or two sooner.

I've bought a few import CDs, a digital camera and had no problems. By the way, I have no connection at all to Abe's of Maine, but have found it to have great prices and customer service.

I always check out the website of the particular products then decide. Most of the time I go with the least expensive. You can also take a look at the past ratings of the service rendered by the vendor.

I've had good service and when picking the least expensive, have been very satisfied. I never buy used items.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
