I've seen so many questions lately from "Newbies" requiring Amazon customer support, and falsely believing that "we" are the answer to their problems, gripes, concerns and demands. I can understand how they would think that since apparently at the bottom of Amazon it says something to the effect of "Can't find what you're looking for? Try Askville", or something like that.
That proves the power of phrasing and language. I believe Amazon should rephrase that...or am I totally off my rocker? Asked by Michelley 47 months ago Similar questions: Amazon Askville make effort clarify outsiders Amazon > Askville.

Can't find what you're looking for? Ask Askville! There's a growing community of people just waiting to answer your question.
Give it a try! amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/002-1890161-66... Personally, I think that they are kidding themselves if they think that we've all volunteered to be personal shoppers for people too dumb to look up something on Amazon. Com on their own.
When I come across these requests, I ignore them. I don't enjoy those sort of questions and I don't learn anything in answering them. In PM, lots of other people have told me that they feel the same, exact way.

1 I was noticing that just yesterday when I was shopping for something on Amazon. I agree that Amazon's phrasing here is misleading.

2 I agree! It's like every day or so there's a new question from someone thinking this is Amazon's customer service. I see them give private info like names, emails addresses and phone numbers.
I hope none of them start leaving credit card numbers wanting us to refund their account! Someones bound to go shopping with that bit of info lol.

4 Come to think of it, I can't even remember how I came to find Askville in the first place. I'm pretty sure it was through an ad on another website though. Luckily it wasn't one of those weak little scams like some other websites do, and Amazon is usually really good about these sorts of things.

" "Will Askville succeed as an Amazon venture?" "Help! Why do I keep getting this error with askville? Or even amazon?" "What happened to the link on amazon to get to askville?
" "Who at Amazon thought up Askville? " "How does a site like "askville" make a profit? What is the point of Amazon creating a site like this?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
