Trams have been very popular and successful in the British towns where they have been re-introduced so there is no reason to suppose that Belfast would be any different. But they are expensive an time consuming to introduce because of the need for road closures and moving the pipe and wire services that run beneath the surface. It could take several years just to build the first route.
But once installed trams are simpler, cleaner and cheaper to run than a fleet of diesel buses. It all depends on the budget of the council, and operators, and the political will of the councillors - who would be making a long term committment that would possibly last years beyond their time in office.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
