2 I love the Western states, particularly Nevada, Utah, California. You can land in Las Vegas and do the loop of National Parks: Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce. Spectacular!
I've spent a total of 4 days there, so far, and would dearly love to be able to visit again and see more. If, on the other hand, you will be in Florida, or the Los Angeles area, one of the Disney parks is in order. Best enjoyed with a child 48" or taller, it is still good fun for all ages.
I believe I've logged 5 days in Disneyland (California) and still have it on the "visit again" list. Of course, I also have to recommend the Oregon or Washington coastline as a place to visit; as well as the Columbia River Gorge, in the northern boundary of Oregon. We're in God's country, up here, and it's a beautiful place to visit.
Best enjoyed in the summer, when the temperature can vary from a scorching 80 degrees, down to a frigid 50, but people also come for our winter storms. Those are my top three recommendations. They're by no means an exhaustive list of things to see and do, here in the States, but they are a few ideas.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
