Where can I find forums for people who enjoy photography as a hobby?

There are a lot of online photography forums and sites. Some are very good and others are not. To make sure you find accurate information trying sticking to a couple of types of resources.

Visit the forums of equipment and software manufactures like Nikon and Adobe. These sites are monitored by professionals and have accurate information. Ignore sites like Flickr and photo blogs.

Although some are good, others are just full of erroneous information and opinions. Taking quality photographs is challenging for both color and monochrome images. If you are shooting film you need monochrome film for black and white and color film for color images.

If you are shooting digital, you can convert color images to grayscale images but you cannot shoot in monochrome and convert it to color. The only way to add color to a monochrome image is to colorize it using computer software.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
