Where can I get a list of Universities in the United States that offer Forensic Science program?

I am in the state of Texas and so far I only know one University that offer this program. This University is Baylor University in Waco. I tried to search this piece of information on google and was not very successful.

Is there a website where I can get the names of Universities which offer a particular program just by typing the name of the program. For example, if I am looking for Universities offering a BS in chemistry, can I just type in chemistry and get the list of Universities that offer a BS in chemistry. AAFS has a substantial list. The American Academy of Forensic Sciences has a list of Colleges & Universities offering such a programs: aafs.org/?section_id=resources&;page_id=... The Google search I used to find that was trivial: "Forensic Science programs" (including the quotation marks, to make sure the entire phrase was searched for, not just the individual words). I don't know of a generic site where you can search for any program of study and find all the universities which offer that.In order to be useful, such lists need to be built by experts in the subject matter, and for that reason they tend to be located at the websites which specialize in those subjects.

If a good aggregator of all such lists exists somewhere, I am not aware of it. There are always the good old paper based guides like Petersons, which have indexes that help you find what you're looking for, but they don't give away their info for free. Lots of ways to identify the right college program on this site, provided by the College Board. The College Board offers "the college matchmaker" on the website above. You can search by location, major, cost, deadlines, and many other parameters.

I came up with one more Forensics program in Texas -- St. Edwards in Austin. I searched nationally for four-year colleges with forensics programs, and came up with 58:A wealth of detail is offered about each school -- contact information, degrees offered, setting, size, composition of student body, required exams, admission requirements, test scores, procedures, dates, cost, financial aid. The Forensic Casebook Several months ago, I signed up to take a free on-line "course" through Barnes and Noble on forensic science. Unfortunately, I didn't carry through with it, but I did purchase their recommended text: The Forensic Casebook by N.E. Genge. One of the book's appendices is a "selection of institutions offering programs with forensic interest."

It lists about 50 such places (from Albany State University through York College of Pennsylvania, along with phone numbers and mailing addresses. And, if you're intelligent, interested in forensics, but not already overly informed, the book is a fascinating read! I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
