From Cleveland.com: Incumbents in Cuyahoga County suburbs win re-election By Joe Guillen, The Plain Dealer November 04, 2009, 12:23AM With Edith Starzyk It was a good night to be an incumbent mayor in Cuyahoga County’s suburbs on Tuesday. Mayors in Bay Village, Middleburg Heights, Cuyahoga Heights and Mayfield Heights won re-election. Bay Village Mayor Deborah Sutherland survived a scare, defeating Councilman Jim Scott with 51 percent of the vote, according to the final, unofficial returns.
With the win, Sutherland secured her third full term. Sutherland said she knew the race would be close. "My opponent was very effective at getting his misinformation out there, such as referring to a budgetary meltdown, which is not true," she said.
Meanwhile, Middleburg Heights Mayor Gary Starr cruised to victory, becoming the longest-serving mayor in Cuyahoga County. Starr soundly defeated Dean Conforte, a Cuyahoga County security officer, by more more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
