Where do you stand on modern art, is it expression of depth, or simply chimpanzees throwing around?

Some of its stupid, and some of it actually has meaning. It all depends on the artist. For instance, I could paint a single line on a canvas and sell it for a million dollars, saying that the meaning of it is too complex and personal for anyone to understand, even if its simply a line on a canvas.

Other artists actually take their work very seriously, and their pieces have deep meaning to them. The work may seem weird, but it all depends on your perspective.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
