ComBoutique Hotel with emphasis on European-style service, housed in restored Mediterranean Revival building dating from 1932. Reviews:This is one charming place.
If you don't have time to fly to Spain or Italy for the weekend, then try the Impala. It's in the middle of the hustle-bustle of historic Miami Beach, but once you pass through the side courtyard beyond the fountain, you enter a tranquil place with a friendly staff. The charm continues from the lobby to the rooms which have great woodwork and tile detail.
I had a great stay and would (will) go back someday! My new husband and I stayed at the Impala the day before our honeymoon cruise and then again on the day after. I can not say enough good things about the staff working here.
Particularly Gabriele. He was very eager to help and his suggestions on food and activities in the South Beach area, were right on the mark. The day after our cruise we were pleasantly suprised to find out that we had been upgraded to a suite.
I highly reccomend a suite to anyone with a little extra cash. It was great to have that extra leg room that the suite provided (couch, chairs, bar area, and two closets). Both rooms did have comfortable beds and each of the bathrooms were marvelous.
The tubs were big and very nice to soak in after a long day of traveling. The hotel even provides bubble bath! This is a very charming place.
The week we were cruising the Carribean the hotel had started their renovations. We returned to new carpet which had been laid and made the Impala shine a little more. Great location, wonderful staff, very cold air-conditioned rooms, and nice atmosphere.
A++------Sherbrooke Hotel 901 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139 * Rooms: 34 * TripAdvisor traveler rating: 4 of 5 * Average price: $122Call now to book: 1-800-454-6835 from hotels. ComArt deco landmark conveniently located in the heart of South Beach, steps away from the ocean and famous restaurants. Reviews:The Sherbrooke is a great place to stay.
A very relaxed place in a terrific location, steps to the strip and beach. Nothing fancy about the rooms, but comfortable and clean. Full kitchen is a nice addition.
The proprietor, Mitch, is very laid back and easily accessible by phone and e-mail. The Sherbrooke has been a perfect spot for the past four years for a group of friends to gather and play golf, attend a pro football game, and enjoy all the excitement of Miami Beach at our doorsteps. I would recommend it to singles, couples not looking for upscale accommodations, and families on a budget.
I was very pleased with this hotel. If you are looking for then this place is not for you. But if you are looking for great location, neccesities, reasonable rates this place is for you.
Mitch (the owner) and Maggie (cute dog) and another gentleman, greated us as soon as we got out of the taxi. They carried our luggage straight to our room. Was alittle concerned for they was no front desk, but there wasn't one needed.
Our room was clean, kitchen was fully equipped with full size fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, pots and pans. The bathroom was alittle small but as long as it has a toilet and shower who can complain. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you can look somewhere else because its right on the strip and I promise you can hear all that goes on.As a city person, it was pretty much home to me.
It's across from some great shops, a block from the beach and the club strip. We will surely come back. Sources: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g34439-Miami_Beach_Florida-Hotels.html .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
