Some companies do not withhold taxes - allowing the employees to have the money all year. It is the responsibility of the employee to save the money and pay the taxes at the end of the year. If you knew that the company was not taking out taxes ( and if you got a checkstub, you had to know), then you had to know you were gonig to pay them when tax time came around. So, reporting the company is not going to change anything.

And there is no law stating that companes have to withhold taxes. The only law is that the employee has to pay them.

Here's an interesting article from the Cato Institute:cato.org/pubs/journal/cj14n3-1.html html.

" "If I owe to State Taxes will my federal be garnished to pay it off?" "My employer failed to withhold taxes and have no documentation. Are they responsible for paying the taxes?

How much federal taxes do you pay on 45,000.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
