Lift the hood, look to the right of the engine. You'll see a black box with two clips (front and back). Push clips to unlock box, lift straight up.
You'll find your fuses ....... the fuse map is on the underside of the lid you lift off.
I am relieved to find someone else out there with the same problem that I am having with my 2006 Chevy HHR LT. Tim146- My car is doing the exact same thing as yours. Mine is actually back in the shop for the third time for this issue in the last year.
I have gone through 3 District Specialists...many case numbers and so many times at a Chevy dealer/mechanic... only to be told "normal wear and tear". We have a 2006 HHR LT and from month 3 of ownership we have had a terrible shaking of the steering wheel, and horrible front end noise. I have taken over and over to not just on dealer repair, but two to be told " turn the rotors".
I have tried to deal with three separate District Specialists all of whom seem to quit the company. I have a 2006 chevy hhr and my a/c up to about 6 months ago my a/c would not blow cold air so I heard that if I replace the a/c switch the problem would get fixed so I replaced it but I replaced it from another car and my ac worked again but it kicks on and off frequently so I cant ever have full time cold a/c. I have had 3 new rotors stuck on my 2006 HHR since January this year and I have to go back in again for I'll guess, another.. They keep telling me defaulty parts?
I have had this problem on going now for a year, I've put alteast 6 rotors on this since last May and I still have the same shaking issues. I'm wondering about the life cycle on 2006 HHR brakes & pad replacement given they now have a $75 coupon good till 8/31/2009... I had progressive problems with mine vibrating starting @ 6000 miles and I waited longer than I should have. I have a 2006 HHR LT and my brakes would vibrate constantly.
At the time the car only had 34000 miles. My husband checked the brakes and said they were fine, but we changed them anyway.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
