Where is the MAP sensor located on a 1999 Miata?
1999-2005 Mazda Miatas do not really run MAP sensors like Hondas, they use a Mass Air Flow Sensor, the black, tubular piece on top of the air box. Miatas do have a boost sensor, and that is located on the intake manifold, half way down on on the lower section.
My Haynes book had the MAP sensor in the wrong spot. On the 2000 Jetta it is just to the front of the windshield washer reservoir. I removed the reservoir and could access it easily.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
