Where is the transmission filter located on a 2003 Ford Escape?

My 2001 does not have a filter. Just a drain plug on transmission pan Answer I have a 2002 escape so I imagine it's not much different. There is a pan on the driver's side of the engine up towards the front by the radiator.It is sitting vertically facing the front of the car I went through the painstaking process of pulling mine off to find the transmission filter only to find it didn't have a filter.

Everyone told me it had a filter, even the dealer. All lies =) Don't waste 3 hours of your time pulling that thing off and then trying to get it back on.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
