Alki Kayak Tours Alki Kayak Tours1660 Harbor Avenue SW Seattle, WA 98126206-953-0237 This is easily my favorite place to rent a kayak in the area. If you look at their website, they offer tours and sell you those, which are nice for an afternoon sunset tour for only $35. However, they also rent kayaks by themselves for relativly pretty cheap and then can either paddle down the river or out around Alki beach towards the sound.
If you are lucky you can even spot one of the bald eagles that frequent the area. kayakalki.com/More information:http://www.nwsource.com/ae/scr/edb_vd.cfm?c=o&ven=26844&s=nwshttp://www.gonorthwest.com/Washington/seattle/activities/kayaking.htmhttp://www.westseattleherald.com/articles/2005/09/07/features/101%20things/101things.txt Google Map View Larger Map .
Seattle Raft and Kayak Seattle Raft and Kayak is my favorite based upon the fact that the rental is $25 per person and you can stay out as long as you would like. They are located at Sand Point, Magnuson Park, Lake Washington. You do have to reserve ahead most weekend days because they have a limited supply.

Cascade at Enatai, Aqua Verde on Lake Union Cascade Center at Enatai Beach Park in Bellevue: canoe-kayak.com/site/locations.php?actio... Verde in the U-district: aguaverde.com/- Can get really busy in the afternoon on the weekend. Go before 11am- Has a pretty good Mexican restaurant above it .
NWOC I like NWOC mostly because of their quietness. I rented there and at Agua Verde and Agua Verde can be very buzy. I also looked into the rentals at Moss Bay (South Lake Union) mossbay.net/They have a very interesting "Boat Purchase and Share Plan".
It can be advantageous if you plan to go several times. If you want to go back often you could also look into buying a used kayak. Again I nearly bought one two years ago from for-sale, but then realised my car was not big enough to transport it.It was less than $500 with equipment which is a great deal compared to the price of the rentals.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
