Well you see that's a problem. You can't have all three. The easiest and fastest way to get someplace is never going to be the cheapest too.
And the cheapest is almost never the fastest way. The fastest way is to take a plane. Air Canada Jazz has 8-10 flights per day between Ottawa and Montreal.
They take just over an hour. But it is not cheap. The cheapest one I found was for a flight August 27th at $287.
Next is probably train. It costs $70 (one way) from Ottawa downtown train station to the depot at Dorval-Trudeau Airport. From there it's a short shuttlebus ride of minutes to the departures area of Trudeau Airport.
Next fastest is to have someone drive you, like a friend. If you offer to pay for their gas, it's a two hour drive to Montreal and then back. A tank of gas will cost you about $60-70.
Advantage here is that you can schedule to leave whenever you like, and so can plan when you get to Dorval to catch your Montreal flight. Disadvantage is your family or friend wastes 4hrs of their time driving you. Finally, there is the bus.
Greyhound standard fare is $29, but there are web fares available for $18. It takes on average 2.5 hours. So as you can see, the cheapest is the slowest.
Definitely better, more simple, more paratical by bus.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
