Which Contract Was Better-Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III?

I'd have to take Andrew Luck for several reasons: 1. Andrew Luck's stats at the combine were almost as good as Cam Newtons. In fact, he has an even higher vertical jump at 36" than Cam Newton had.

2. Yeah, he was a little slower than Griffin, but by only a slight fraction of a second. And how much do you really want a QB to run.

Me, I don't want them to run that often. The more they run, the more likely they are going to get hurt. 3.

Baylor's program was centered around the pass this past year. Stanford's was centered around the run, yet Luck threw for almost as many yards. 4.

Luck is bigger and taller. That will make him harder to bring down and sack. The extra height also will make his passes harder to pick off.

That extra couple of inches can mean the difference between a completion and an interception. 5. This is a big one.

RGIII had to sit out an entire year injured. Luck hasn't. RGIII with his smaller build, higher likelihood to run, and previous injuries is far more likely to go out injured.

And what good does a quarterback do you if he is out injured. The same thing has plagued Bradford of the Rams and Stafford of the Lions. Both of them are very good QB's, but injuries are ruining their careers.

And look what happened to Vick. Runs and goes out most of the season. Tebow got injured pretty bad in his game against the Patriots.

If they had won, that would have put the Broncos in a bad situation for the AFC Championship game. 6. Luck is used to calling his own plays and is a hard worker.

While RGIII is claiming he's the best. Luck is staying silent and going to a private quarterbacks coach that is considered one of the best in the industry. Even Big Ben went to the guy for training when he was suspended.

RGIII doesn't call his own plays and I don't think he has the insight for the game that Luck has. 7. Luck seems more of a team leader.

Teammates don't want a QB with an ego that states he's the best. They want a humble guy that works hard, is smart and leads by example. Luck comes off humble, hardworking, smart, etc. While RGIII is hardworking, he comes off as brash.

And you don't want the QB rubbing the teammates the wrong way. Just look at Sanchez and the Jets and Ryan Leaf with the Chargers. 8.

Look at how good pocket passers have done vs running QB's. Brady, Peyton, Eli, Big Ben, Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers are all pocket passers. Vick and Tebow are both runners and haven't faired all that well even though they are really hyped.

Heck, I can't think of one running quarterback that has ever won a Super Bowl. And the more you run, the more likely you are to get injured. Luck is a pocket passer.

RGIII is a runner. And if you're worried about arm strength I think with as big as Luck is, he can easily have that. And if he doesn't that's nothing a little working out in the gym couldn't solve.

QB's are more than just pure raw talent. They are about smarts, staying healthy, being a good leader and being talented. RGIII might have more physical talent as far as speed.

But Luck beats him on smarts, health, and leadership. The same arguments were basically used back in '98 when picking between Ryan Leaf and Peyton Manning. Leaf had better arm strength and he was more mobile.

Peyton was smarter. Back then I thought Leaf would be better. I realized from that that you have to look at more than just speed and arm strength.

Luck is a lot more like Peyton than RGIII. And being like Peyton is an extreme compliment. People say that RGIII will likely be better in the long run.

I disagree. I think he'll end up getting plagued by injuries and could end up possibly not getting along with teammates if the team starts doing bad. Whereas I think Luck will likely stay healthy for most of his career.

And he's the kind of guy that will bring the team together when the going gets rough.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
