Asian culture in general is extremely diverse, and not all Asian cultures are the same. When you refer to Asia, you are essentially referring to half the world’s population – this includes India, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippino, Japanese, Chinese, Malay and Korean. All these different cultures uphold different kinds of holidays and traditions, so it is really difficult to pinpoint a single holiday or tradition that is important to Asians in general.
For example, the Chinese population makes up a majority of the people in Asia, even if they recognize themselves as being Thai or Vietnamese. As such, the Lunar New Year is often one of the most celebrated holidays in Asia. However, because the cultures are so diverse, traditions that are upheld are also different. In addition, other cultures such as Korean and Japanese culture also celebrate the Lunar New Year – although these may not be called the same holiday and they may also not uphold the same traditions.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
