A win is a win. Knowingly cheating to win is another story though..
I would rather lose with honor rather than win with controversy.
Love the question, and I for one would vote for the defeat any day of the week.
Controversial win. No questions asked. It all depends on your mentality I suppose.
If you are a boxer or competing in Tae Kwon Do, then you may be more concerned about "clean victories" and removing all doubt. I tend to side with the Krav Magra militaristic mindset wherein whoever is standing at the end, must be the winner. It doesn't matter how you win, just don't get caught cheating.
Of course, I also don't care that baseball players and olympains use steroids. No one gets sponsors and a broader fan base for being a good loser.
I think an honorable defeat is better, because at least then there is no question or controversy. Although some people will try to find trouble where there is none, if the majority agrees something was an honorable defeat, most people are going to go with the popular vote.
Hmm, PACMAN knows! You can see it in his eyes after the fight... but he did not judge the fight so we cannot blame himhcroyo.hubpages.com/hub/Is-Manny-Pacquiao-l.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
