Which is the best car insurance coverage for an affordable price?

1 I am with Statefarm in PA. I couldn't believe the savings from my old insurance to Statefarm even after ADDING more coverage. I put stacking on and something else and it was almost the same dollar amount of the other insurance.

We were fully covered but dropped comprehensive as car is paid off. I believe you should carry comprehensive until the car is paid off. I am a safe driver.

I was smashed into the back of my STATION WAGON by a newer Nissan. Her car was totaled and my METAL K-CAR '84 was TOTALED. Quite crumpled from front to back (especially back).

We had just fixed up the car and did not get very much money. It barely covered the work done. I sued and of course, won.So, with this older car we really should not have had comprehensive.

My sister worked for a Doctor and she said Progressive always made their payments for their patients. I just thought I would throw that in as some people do not like not having an agent.

2 Premiums vary tremendously from one part of the country to another and among insurance companies. Expect an insured in rural Iowa to pay half or less of what someone in Newark, NJ pays. As for whether you need to drop your physical damage coverage, how much can you afford to lose?

I suspect a 2004 Civic in good condition has an actual cash value of $10,000 or more. Can you afford such a loss? If you want to shop around, consider an independent agent which might represent 12-20 (sometimes more) insurance companies and can match up the best product and price for your exposures.

Go to independentagent.com and you can use their Agent Locator to find agents in your area.

The bank will require full coverage. And a two year old car is still farily new. I think it's reasonable to maintain full coverage on it for the first five years or so.

After that, collision and liability insurance should be enough. As to how much you're paying, I don't want to sound like a commercial, but a few months ago I researched car insurance rates from several companies. I was actually really dissatisfied with the results, or lack thereof, I got from Allstate while doing my research.

I was insured by them many years ago, but I don't think I would go with them again.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
