But I think soft drinks are one of the biggest causes of ill health today, in general, and obesity in particular. Aside from subtle elements that may be unhealthy, I suspect many people simply don’t intuitively get how fattening these beverages are. It’s sad, partly, because soft drinks were not invented by evil people.
