COCA-COLA OR PEPSI-COLA, why?

I like Pepsi better... I like the taste better. I used to like Coke better, but it seems different. It seems to leave a film on my teeth and give me an upset stomach.

However, with rum or Jack I like Coke better.

PEPSI I drank regular Coke until I was in high school. When I decided to switch to diet, I hated the taste of diet Coke and switched to diet Pepsi instead. I will drink diet Coke if I have to (in a restaurant) but if I have a choice, it's always Pepsi.In a food court, I will sometimes buy my diet Pepsi at one vendor and my food at a Coke vendor.

Most people I know who care like Pepsi better, but Coke owns or has its fingers in so many restaurant chains that there is not much choice. Pepsi has a nice smell, it's got a slight hint of some kind of fruit. Coke just smells ugly.

When they first had the "Pepsi challenge" years ago, I thought it was a joke, because I've always been able to tell the two apart just by smell--even when I was a Coke drinker. My drink of choice is caffeine-free diet Pepsi, but when I go out I have to settle for caffeinated diet Pepsi. Definitely COKE! Coke has that "bite" to it that Pepsi does not have. And I find Pepsi to be too sweet... Coke seems to quench my thirst better (even though I know it's really dehydrating me).

When I'm out, I'll drink Pepsi if that's all they have... Diet Pepsi. Of course. Diet Coke simply blows.

Or rather it doesn't - the soda is FLAT out of the bottle or can in a matter of minutes. Give me Diet Pepsi any day. At least it stays unnaturally fizzy (I hate flat soda!) Sources: personal experience .

Coca-Cola Pretty simply, it just tastes better. I love the Pepsi ads that claim Pepsi-cola has "more cola flavor". Well that’s great, but if the flavor isn’t *better*, the fact that there’s more isn’t so much a good thing.

:-) I can, definitely, tell the difference between the two. In fact, I once took the "Pepsi Challenge" when they were at my local amusement park. They gave me two cups of cola and some crackers to cleanse the pallot in between.

Rather than just saying "I like A better", I actually told the woman "A’s Coke, B’s Pepsi, and I like A better...". The woman, who clearly had no real desire to be there, simply revealed the two choices (I was right) and said "I’m sorry, sir, you’ve chosen the other cola. " Yup.

I don’t know what else to put here. Pepsi isn’t "bad", certainly. I don’t refuse to drink it.

If a restaurant I go to only has Pepsi products, I’ll have a Pepsi, no problem. But when I go to the store, I buy Coke, always. I just prefer the taste.(It should be noted that I also think Pepsi is better than the "other" cola brands like RC Cola or Tab or any of the generic supermarket-branded colas.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
