Which NFL team has been the most surprising so far this season?

One of the biggest surprise teams in the NFL is the Oakland Raiders. After winning last week, they are now 3-4. "In 2009, they were 5-11."

Their win last week was a 59 to 14 bashing of the Denver Broncos. This was led by running back Darren McFadden who rushed for 165 yards and caught passes for 31 yards. He had three rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdown.

McFadden has been just one spark of this Raiders team. Another key for the Raiders has been the quarterback Jason Campbell. He may have only four touchdowns, but he has had key passes in key situations.

He also trusts his players and knows what play to call in an important situation. The Raiders have a slight possibility of making the playoffs this season and may even win their division.

I think one of the biggest surprises of the year so far has been the Kansas City Chiefs. KC has won their first three games and they may have a shot to even win their division; something that didn’t seem like a reality coming into the season. Another surprising team has to be the San Francisco 49ers.

They had great expectations coming into this season after finishing the 2009 campaign with an 8-8 record. However, this season has seen them lose a number of close games with only win to show for their effort approaching the mid-point of the season. There could be a lot of changes in the bay area unless the 49ers are able to get themselves back on track during the second half of the season.

Well, since the first two answers basically went for who was the most surprising in the NFL in a positive light; I will go with who has been most surprising as far as being much worse than people thought they would be. The Cincinnati Bengals came into 2010 coming off a playoff appearance and actually opened the season 2-1 before they lost nine, yes nine straight games. Now sitting at 2-10, I don’t think anyone could have predicted that a team that had both Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens at wide receiver and Carson Palmer at quarterback would have been this bad.

They are now sporting one of the worst records in the league and it appears that this might be the final straw in what has been an up and down career for Marvin Lewis.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
