I struggle back and forth on this and always hear that both are important. I'm asking which ONE is MORE important - if one had to be chosen. Why did you pick the one you did?

Healthy Eating Ok, so we have already agreed that both are important and that you know that and are asking us to choose. SO, I don't have to reiterate that I think both are important I will jut more forward and answer the question. Food is fuel for the body.
Healthy eating means that you are putting the best fuel in the tank so the machine, the body, can run the most efficiently. Poor fuel quality means different parts of the body aren't getting what they need to run properly, different systems and organs are bieng taxed more than they would with healthy eating. It is a fundamental base part of living.
Even exercise can't be done and or used as effectively as it could be if you aren't eating healthy. For example, if you are eating healthy and maintaining a natural, healthy body weight, exercise is a tool to support the body and to maintain some of the systems of the body like the heart and the muscles. If however you haven't been eating healthy and you are overweight, now the exercise is geared towards burning fat.
The organs are being taxed and the body is being put in more stress and in come cases dangerous levels of stress. In reality these two things work well together. Neither concept, exercise or healthy eating is as good for you alone as it is combined with the other.
I do think that the healthy eating is a core necessity that influences how beneficial the exercise is for you.
Eating Eating a good balanced diet is more important but only doing one or the other is a bad idea either way. You can eat a lot of crap and burn it off if you exercise a lot but crap is still crap and it will get you in the long run. Eat right and exercise too and you'll live forever (or until some beer swilling, ceegar smoking, pizza head runs you over.) .
To me personally, healthy eating is more important. I have a lot of physical health problems, so eating healthier is more important because most of the time physical exercise isn't possible. I can't control the fact that my back and neck cause me extreme pain if I try and exercise too much, but I can control what I put into my body.
I try and eat a high fiber diet, and by just changing my diet a little bit here and there and changing one of the medicines I'm on I've been able to lose over 30 pounds so far. I haven't increased my exercise since it causes me pain. I have been losing it slowly but surely, which is the healthiest way to go about it.
I'm happy some people can run miles at a time, but not all of us are marathon runners! Some of us just have to eat better, and I'm one of those people! Eating right, barely Really, it's impossible to pick one. It's like asking whether "oxygen" or "water" is most important. If I absolutely had to pick one, I'd say that eating right is more important.
If you eat badly, you can get all sorts of fairly immediate issues: constipation, vitamin deficiency, various other sorts of malnutrition. These can cause rather immediate and ugly consequences. Lack of exercise isn't great, but as long as you're eating right it'll take a long time for the effects to catch up to you.
You still won't be very healthy, though.
Gotta do both in my opinion. Without eating healthy--a person will not lose fatty tissue on the body. Without exercise, We May not have a healthy heart/muscles/etc. For a long life ahead.
So, if I HAVE to choose ONE? It would be Exercise....because if we are able to exercise we are taking care of our bodies to some degree. Texanole--Gotta say it/ Accept it and probably takes both.
Trust me, I fought it too.(LOL) Sources: Past Experience/ Multiple Books on Multiple Topics .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
